This is a Shelley China, England teacup trio or cup and saucer with matching plate in the Blue Rose chintz pattern and late Empire shape made 1940-1949 with blue trim. The rarely seen shaped cup is 2.75 inches high, the saucer is 5.25 in diameter and the plate is 7 in diameter. The bone china Blue Rose chintz cup and saucer and plate are in nearly mint condition with no chips, cracks and only very miniscule evidence of use on the plate alone. A beautiful set in a rarely seen shape.

This is a chintz biscuit jar or biscuit barrel in an art deco design vintage with fancy silver plate fittings. The biscuit jar was made by Midwinter, England now a part of Wedgwood in 1940-1946 in a pattern called Brama consisting of a green ground with a gold chintz grapes and grapevine overlay. The Brama pattern was substituted by what used to be the Springtime pattern in 1946-1947, so the dating is pretty narrow.
