Very nice set of four off-white linen look placemats and napkins with with light sage/celery machine stitched edges. Placemats measure 17" x 11 1/2" and have two rows of machine chain stitch in metallic thread. Napkins are 11 1/4" square.
Set is in very good condition with no stains. The only mark is a faint '2.00' on one placemat hand written in off-white.

This blue tea towel is a wonderful example of fine handwork. It is scalloped and finished by hand with a fine blanket stitch on both ends with machine-stitched hem on sides. Detailed cutwork of a flower and leaves, and fine embroidery on one end. Could also be used as a dresser scarf.

These tea towels are truly amazing examples several forms of handiwork - hand applique, drawn threadwork and fine embroidery.
Everything is done by hand except three side are hemmed by machine using very fine stitches. The fourth side was hemmed by hand using a tiny blanket stitch to bind the appliqued colored material to the background.

Not sure how old this purse is. It looks older but the condition is extremely nice. Front has a ripple silk fabric, the back is solid smooth silk. Top has a black patent leather flap with a clear plastic / lucite handle. Tag inside says Starbags MONI. Measures 6 1/2" x 6 plus the handle. Swirls of dark brown, white and clear glass were blown to form a footed cornucopia with a square-shaped mouth.
It measures 10 1/4" long x 9" wide x 4 3/4" high.
This piece is very heavy and weighs 3 1/2 pounds.

Interesting, 50's style angular dish. Dark salmon pink coloring with sponged relief of white and gold. (photo makes pink appear light) On the bottom you can see the bare red clay it was made from. Inscribed into the bottom it says 462 Van Nuys Calif. (C) 1958 U.S.A. Smooth glaze on the inside. Measures approx. 5" x 7 1/4" but is three sided. It is 3" deep. It has three small feet which are a part of the bowl. Perfect condition!

A complete set of vintage willow ware cannisters. Four cannisters with the all around blue willow pattern. Solid blue tops. All are in great condition with no dents or rust. Only the lid of the largest cannister has wear on the edges and a few dimples. I believe this could be touched up easily. I have included a closeup photo of that lid. These are awesome, yet practical since they are made of metal. Tight lids, yet the slip off easily for access. Not many of these out there that are complete... Click for details

This plate is ancient!! No markings for me to make any idenity. Plate measures 10" in diameter. It has a bust of a Victorian girl in the center. On the border it is a pretty lavender luster with repeating laurel wreath patterns in white. On the extreme edge another small gold patterned border. Gold is faded and worn and there are a few scratches on the ladies face. No chips or cracks in the plate. Very pretty!

Nice dark green heavy glazed vase measures just over 9" tall. No marks or stickers but does have three runners on the bottom which leads me to believe its Royal Copley. Deep green glaze with a laurel leaf band around the center of the bulbous part of the vase. No chips or cracks. A tiny glaze skip on the top rim. Lovely vase.
