This is a fabulous silver metal mesh purse made by Whiting and Davis 1910-1920 with the tag inside. It measures 5 inches high by 5 inches wide at the bottom and has an 8 inch curb chain handle. It has a fancy art nouveau pierced silverplated frame. The catch is tight and it has it's perfect pale pink silk moire lining. There is some slight wear and a bit of plating loss to the frame. This tea cup and saucer is a lovely pattern by the name of Cherwell in bone china made by the famous Paragon china Company, England in the 1950s.
