This Cambridge Glass #3400/38 4-footed console or center bowl is in excellent condition; no chips or cracks, and only 1 small (1/4-1/2) scratch inside. I tried to get a picture of it but could not. Its made in Cambridge's lovely dark emerald green, c. 1930s-40s. We have this same bowl in crystal, turned slightly sun purple (light amethyst); see separate listing. Cambridge paired this bowl with several of its figural flower frogs as a set.

Cambridge Glass's Heatherbloom is a lavender neodymium color that changes to a pale blue under fluorescent light and was made only from 1931-1935. This Cambridge Glass #3400/48 12" 4 footed bowl (Console or Centerpiece or Fruit/Flower bowl) is Sun Purple in color. It has minor wear and a tiny flat chip on an edge underneath one of the rays that is not immediately noticeable. Sun Purple is the name for the color of old, vintage clear crystal that has been exposed to the sun for a period of time; its high lead content absorbs the ultraviolet rays and turns the glass a shade of light lavender. This is a cup and saucer by Shelley China, England in art deco design bone china made 1940-1966 in the Wisteria pattern in the orange colorway and the old Cambridge shape with gold trim. The design is hand colored wisteria blooms and leaves on sepia transfer. The cup is 3 inches high, the saucer is 5.5 inches in diameter and the cup and saucer are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or gold wear. A wonderful set. Lovely amber elegant depression glass wines in the Aurora pattern made by Cambridge Glass, Aurora or line#1066 was Cambridge's answer to Morgantown's Gold Ball (HA), it too has a ball in the stem covered in hobs but the Art Deco ball has hobnails running in vertical lines, these wines are 4 5/8" tall and hold about 3 oz of wine or sherry or port or cordials.Excellent condition of course.
