You are bidding on this stoneware pot /plant with unknown maker. It is 7 inches tall, 9 1/2 inches in diameter across top and 6 inches across the
bottom diameter. There is 1 chip on rim on outside of top rim that was not there when it was purchased. Now for the history that I know of it.
This was purchased at an NC estate sale in the 50's along with other stoneware items. It was listed as stoneware from the late 1800's. I am far for an

TV Limoges Charger Plate Hand Painted Signed signed by the artist MR. The whiteware is made by Tressemann & Vogt (T & V) Limoges France depicting Mark 8 (1907 - 1919) on the underside of the charger. There is also a hand and dagger insignia.

Gorgeous Sampson Hancock handpainted Fruit Bowl signed and designed by F.X. Abrahams, Art Director and artist, of the company during the 1920's/30's. This large shallow bowl was part of the Rubens Ware line in the Pomegranate design. 11" (28 cm) in diameter, 8.25" (21 cm) opening and 3" (7.5 cm) in height. Very good condition, some crazing lines, normal for aged pottery, and also some crazing on base.

This is a neat vintage pottery cream or creamer and sugar bowl or basin set I brought home from England made 1920-1930s by Bilton's, Staffordshire England. The creamer and sugar basin has a lovely blue glaze with hand painted almost abstract flowers. The creamer measures 3 inches high by 5 inches across by 3.25 in diameter. Very old hand decorated plate. Appears to be Germany. Has a green mark B S and the initial M under that, enclosed in a chopped cornered square, gold hand written number and an initial scratched in under the glaze. (see photo). Measures 7 3/4" in diameter,and has all hand painted details. Scenery of a large homestead in the winter. Some relief detailing on the paint. Open lattice edges with leafs of gold. Nice condition. One tiny flea bite on the underside.

This is a wonderful example of the art pottery made by Shelley China, Staffordshire England in the art deco style. This lovely vase is design # 8251 Carnations on a black base. The vase is 3.75 inches high and is 3.5 inches in diameter and has the British Registry date for 1918 and the Shelley mark for 1912-1925. This beautiful vase is 9 1/2" tall and has a thick, smooth terra cotta colored glaze. The top is buttressed and the foot is a graceful puddle of earth tone smooth glaze. There are no marks anywhere on the vase.
