Unique vintage Sweden Silverplated souvenir Plate or Tray signed V. Ferngren (Vera Ferngren). Measures 6 7/8" x 3 1/2". Engraved on the bottonm front in the word EXPRESSEN which is some kind of Swedish tabloid. The tray is a map of Sweden and has relief designs and engraved stated points of interest. Also engraved across the country is the word SVERIGE (meaning Sweden). I did not polish because some folks like the original patina, but I'll bet it would be very lovely polished.
