Here's a very nice pair of vintage pottery planters with a Dutch boy leaning against a picket fence, and a Dutch girl with hands on her hips. These are unmarked, but I have found out that they were made by McMaster Pottery of Hamilton, a Canadian pottery. The white clay indicates they are earlier pieces. The planters measures approx. 3 3/4 by 3 1/2 by 6 1/4 inches tall. There are no chips or cracks, and the coloring is vivid and bright. They are excellent!!

Jardiniere, (ornamental planter), with squared form, swelled sides, low rectangular mouth and tab side handles. Small block feet, turquoise ground with embossed floral sprig in purple and turquoise. This vintage jardiniere is 4 1/2" tall, with no chips, cracks, etc. I do not have this dated yet, but I suspect in the 1940's or before. Has stood it little ground for over 65 years!!

Retro Biomorphic Bowl, Ashtray from the 1940s, 1950s, impressed signature on back, "Cal Orig," and "373 - USA." Turquoise speckled ground with gilded edges and gilding around the dramatic cigarette rest string. This mustache cup is in mint condition. It is marked Brandenburg with an anchor on the bottom. Beautiful blue markings I believe are called blue onion. No chips, cracks, or any other flaws on this beautiful cup. It is 4 inches tall.

Famous as a 1950s designer and artist, primarily of pottery items, Sasha Brastoff's items were usually signed "Sasha B," as is this lighter, in gold near the base. The maker's mark also appears on the base, in gold. This is from their "House" design and has several houses all the way around. A wonderful majolica scenic wall plate made by CiCo Germany, Green backstamp plus impressed numbers in the plates mold. Scene is raised relief of an old covered bridge and countryside. Measures 8 3/8" x 8 3/8" square. Has a wire on the back for hanging, which has been threaded through the mold of the plate especially for hanging. Plate is in perfect condition with no damages or repairs.

Bavarian German figural hand painted plate measuring 11" (28 cm) depicting 16th century figures from the famous Fragonard paintings. Interesting, 50's style angular dish. Dark salmon pink coloring with sponged relief of white and gold. (photo makes pink appear light) On the bottom you can see the bare red clay it was made from. Inscribed into the bottom it says 462 Van Nuys Calif. (C) 1958 U.S.A. Smooth glaze on the inside. Measures approx. 5" x 7 1/4" but is three sided. It is 3" deep. It has three small feet which are a part of the bowl. Perfect condition!
