Rare example of one of the popular 1950s decorative arts designers, Marc Bellaire, painted and signed by Ingle. The piece is documented in the book, Designed and Signed of 1996, see last photo. About 9-1/2" x 7-1/2". Some paint loss (water background), and one large chip, apparently re-glued, at the top underside of the ashtray, see photo. Retro, Mid-Century Unique Vases (pr). Each one 12 ½” tall and beautiful creamy ivory-white with a light gold-tone sponge-like accenting on one bowed leg and around the top rim of the other. The finish is silky smooth and I can find absolutely no damage to either one. Neither of them have a makers mark nor any way to really identify them. My guess would be California made, but who knows? This is a vintage cold painted black or real dark brown glazed water pitcher or jug. It has pink flowers and green leaves. It has the guard around the spout to keep the ice from pouring into the glass with the water. It has wear to the paint and some imperfections to the glaze, but no chips and no cracks. This looks like glaze over red clay or redware. It is very similar to water pitchers put out by Hull, McCoy or even Homer Laughlin, but it is unmarked. This piece measures 5.75 inches tall and ... This is a great eames era piece with an interesting mix of matte and glazed drip, in lime and turquoise with a little chartruese. It has a neat windshield type rim and upturned ends. Oval in shape and measures approxamatly 7" x 10 1/2". Inside is glazed white. Perfect condition with no chips or cracks. A very interesting piece. It has a very large odd mark into the pottery that looks like several lettrs incorporated into the mark when it is turned different ways.
