Antique English Sheep Shears-- Burgan & Ball-very old. Burgon and Ball Sheep Shear, dated from APPROXIMATELY 1837.
This is a Double Bow Sheep Shear for trimming and shearing sheep . This Shear is hand forged, including the two inside rivets.
A is a hallmark on both sides, although one is much fainter than the other.
The better one, still a little difficult to read, I believe says:
"Burgon & Ball" curved over a Royal Crown, and "Patent Number 294" (?) inside a Shield.

These may be some of the handiest tools around a country home. They were made to shear the wool from sheep. The shearer would hold the sheep between his knees and use these cutters to cut off the coat.
Gardeners use them for trimming garden growth. Made of high quality steel, these are often cut into two pieces and sharpened into separate knives because they hold an edge so well.

This is a large gold pan that has been painted some years ago.
The gold pan is real and the painting is as well. (Not a print or slip inside the pan.)
The pan measures 16" diameter so it is a rather large one.

This Pexto vintage hand brace is all steel.
No wood at all. It is made in the USA.
15" tall. There's a small bit of surface rust on it. It works great. You can even take this hand brace ice fishing with you. Take it where there's no electricity and use it for drilling holes for ice fishing. You can use this drill anywhere because you don't need any electricity.

This is a Miller Falls adjustable BLOCK wood
plane. Number 55. It is pre- 1930. It is equipped with screw operated cap clamp and lever depth adjustment. Body and cap are black enameled. There's slight paint loss and light rust on the top of the blade but
it is in really good shape for its age. Measures 5 1/2" long. SEE PHOTOS.

The cast frame on this pulley is 4" wide at the widest part. It is a heavy duty pulley . It is 11 " tall overall and
the wood pulley is 6" diameter and 1 3/4"
thick. It has cracking in the wood and oil staining from past generations. Very heavy.
It has "myers" , "OK" and "H-299" in raised
letters on one side of the cast frame.
The pulley is rusty but it just adds to its character. It is aged and part of our history from times past. As is. No returns.

This pulley measures 10" high overall and
the wood pulley is 5 1/2" diameter and

This is an antique and well used farm pulley. Double wheel set in wood frame. From the top of the hook to the bottom of the pulley it is 9" overall. It is 3" wide. This is an old blow torch complete with the soldering iron. This blow torch has been left uncleaned in 'as found' condition. All parts are present. Pump works. Under the side handle bracket there is a number 87. The turn handle is cracked but not all the way through.. Some exterior rust. This is not a brass blow torch. It is steel. This is a single, child-sized (small) wooden shoe last. It is 8" long and 2 3/4" wide.
It is size 12D, with number 2600 stamped on the side.

This is a Yokut round basket, California - late 19th to early 20th century. It is made of coiled willow and sedge root. The hourglass design is interspersed with stacked diamonds made of redbud and outlined in black brackenfern. There is a band of diamonds made of redbud and brackenfern at the top edge. Dimensions: 7 3/8" x 2 1/2" high. Condition: Good. 1 3/4" of winding is missing from top of rim, a few small areas of wrapping are also missing. Otherwise, this is a beautiful basket in Good Cond...
