Acoma Pueblo in New Mexico has some of the finest most sought after pottery in the world. They are known for their fine etching, meticulous fine line drawings and an uncanny ability to capture the true essence of their inspiration.
Large glazed stoneware shakers with nice size handles measures 3 3/4" tall. Both have one of the Remington old west scenes. One of a cowboy on a horse and the other of Indians and horses. Western scene is on both sides, Original rubber stoppers. Excellent condition.
I have a pair of old wooden stirrups that I will sell as a pair or individually. They measure approx 5 1/2" high and 4 1/4" wide. The second one is 4 1/2" wide. They have been well cared for but the wider one has some wear to the wood in the bend and shows stress there. These were obviously displayed with the rawhide strips attached. Great for hanging kitchen towels.
