This basket is a western Yokut round basket, California - late 19th to early 20th century. It is made of coiled willow and sedge root. It has 3 rows of staggered black diamonds made of brakenfern forming a rattlesnake pattern. At opposite sides of the basket, interspersing the rattlesnake pattern, are two vertical bands of stacked diamonds with crosses in the interior of each. They are also made of brakenfern. Dimensions: 7 1/8" x 2 5/8" high. Condition: Very Good.

Original vintage ROY ROGERS paint-by-number pictures. One picture shows Roy Rogers with Trigger, his beloved horse. Bullet, his German Sheppard, shares the other picture.
