It is seldom that you see an early luster Child's tea set as complete and undamaged as this one is. It is especially nice because of the two tone luster finish. Kittens have always been a popular collectible and you will find that children's dishes which have kitten decorations are no exception to the rule. This set is German, circa 1920s. This cast art figurine is a white kitten with big blue eyes and she is on her back playing with a ball. Measures 2 1/2" tall and is 4" long. It does have a signature on her backside but it is hard to read because it is in her (fur) area. No chips or repairs. A cute item for all you cat lovers out there!

These cute spaghetti kitties are a rare find! Spaghetti animals in this color are not plentiful and definitely not spaghetti cats! The boy kitty measures 4” tall (at tallest), the girl measures 3 ¼” tall at tallest), and both are stamped on bottom: 52/290 (indicating a limited production). The color, style, and numbers indicate these were produced by Thames.
