We are not sure who this beautiful horse is, or which race he ran. He was #3, and it also shows a painting of the jockey on the horse in the lower left portion of the painting. Signed by the artist, Davidson and dated '93. On the back some one had written "Sea Hero? 1993 Kentucky Derby winner". It looks ike they weren't sure either. lol. This is a nice figurine marked Tenn. Walking Horse with Japan in black on the bottom, therefore I believe it to be vintage Japan. It has a saddle and bridle. It measures 4.5 inches long and 4.5 inches tall and is in very good condition, no chips and no cracks. It does have just a touch of age glaze crazing.

Nice pair of green ceramic horse heads made by Canadian Ceramics. These figures stand 6-1/4 inches tall and have padded bases to prevent furniture damage. Both pieces show some wear from handling and some of the glaze has lost its glossy shine but this set is in good condition with no chips or cracks. One horse head has the original gold and black foil label that reads "Canadian Ceramics." This is a handsome pair of horse heads for shelf display.

This is a wonderful heavy porcelain dish with a heavily enameled scene of an English hunt. Gentlemen on their horses are jumping fences and a hunting dog joins in. Hand painted and decorated. Wonderful with no chips or cracks. Measures 8" x 8". There is a hand painted number on the back which appears to be 430. Upon close inspection there is a scratched area on the back where the original backstamp has been removed for some odd reason. Regardless, this appears to be very old and is truely a wond... This awesome horse head vase is not marked but I had believed it was made by Royal Haeger or Royal Hickman. I was informed that it was most likely a California Pottery piece. This glaze color and style is typical of all their works. Mauve and turquoise blue agate drip glaze. Vase measures 9" tall and has no chips or cracks. This is a wonderful bolo for that special cowboy to wear. Large gold metal horseshoe with a white colt under glass. You could remove this picture and insert your own, if you like.
