This two-volume set for the sale of the Wetzel estate items on October 2-4 1980 is in very good condition but for spine corners showing wear. This sale was marvelous - I was there, wish I had bought more! Volume I is mostly English and Continental furniture and decorations. Volume II is American furniture and decorations. I see this being sold elsewhere with an asking price of $45 for each volume! There are no print-outs, but you can obtain them from Sotheby's. $29.00/2 volume set.

Old, probably antique, brass or bronze Door Knob Plate, impressed "Y&T" inside a spade shaped shield, on verso. 8-3/4" long, 2-3/4" wide. From a home in Oklahoma listed on the National Historical Registry. Beautiful, ornate, likely antique, door knob and lock plate of brass or bronze. Unknown maker, but likely American as it was purchased alongside another marked knob plate which we are listing, and both came from a house on the National Registry of Historical Homes. 15-1/4" long, 2-1/2" wide. From about the 1930's is this lovely ceiling mounted Chandelier. There are approx. 130 round faceted crystal sections in this piece. The top row sections each contain four crystals each. The other 3 rows are composed of 3 crystal sections. All toll approx. 450 individual faceted crystals. It is a 3 light chandelier that measures 10" across at the top row and measures approx. 3.5" at the bottom. Total height is 7". The inside top is chrome which gives great refection of the light. This is a cast iron Double Scottie Dogs Doorstop.
Marked NSM 157. There is also another mark on them as shown in photo. They were made by the National Sewing Machine Company for Texaco; as part of an advertising campaign. Year approximate 1931. They are in very good condition. No cracks. They are in original finish.
