Reverse painted Portrait on Glass, unsigned. Well done. A lovely original handpainted portrait of a young woman in Victorian dress on glass, mounted to the lid of a simple wooden box which has been stained and varnished. 5.5" x 7" x 2.5" high. Wood is somewhat darker than appears in photos. Excellent condition. While the box is probably 20th Century, we cannot be sure of the age of the painting; it could be quite old. $10 US Shipping.

Small "postcard" size woodblock print by Japanese Ykiyo-e artist, Utagawa Hiroshige (1797-1858). This is likely an early 20th Century edition of Hiroshige's print series, "53 Stations on the Tokaido." Framed and matted to 7" x 9", with non-glare glass; image size is 3.5" x 5.5". This is a wonderful set of vintage (60's maybe) ballet prints. The frames measure 9 1/2" x 11 1/2" at the widest part. The frames are a heavy plastic and the prints are on a cardboard type paper. They are in great condition! In the pics it appears there is damage on the upper left corner of one but it's not damage, it's light glare.
