Prescious Miniatures - 5" x 7" print in very ornate antiqued gold painted frame; frames are hard molded plastic. Very collectible.
De Hooch had settled in Amsterdam, where he portrayed subjects from the upper classes, but his later paintings were less successful. He died in an insane asylum in 1684. Known for his skilled portrayal of natural light falling on a scene. His light is warm - more color range is richer, with fewer cool tones.
Very good condition.

This is a cute onyx ashtray that is hand carved and looks "Incan" in nature. The bowl of the tray is etched and the top has an "Incan" statue, small faces carved in the front feet of the bowl. a great piece just for decorating. Stands 3 3/4 inches tall, bowl about 2 1/2 diameter. Heavy for its size.

These four Currier & Ives prints in frames were originally bought at Woolworth Five & Dime store - price on back is $.29. All Winter scenes. Wood frames are a little rough, not much, though. Hooks on back for hanging. Entire pictures measure 5 5/8"w x 4 1/2" high and total weight is about 1 1/4 lbs. without box/packing. In good condition. Older prints.
