Collectible plate by Ridgeways Royal Vistas Ware, From Paintings by Famous Artists. This is of "In The Gulf Of Venice" by famous artist William Clarkson Stanfield 1848. THis plate measures just over 8" in diameter and has no damages, and has gold trim. Makers intentional crazing effect under glaze on the front and back to give it that old appearance. All of these I have seen have this treatment.

Very nice painting of Marie Antoinette. I am not well versed on the subject but I believe this is oil on ivory. The frame is just beautiful and measures just under 15x13 cm. The labels on the back "Made in Italy" and "Hand Painted" are typical of Italian exports I believe between 1910 and 1920 but the painting is likely older then that. I am not sure what the tape on the rear is holding together as the back stand, although a bit loose, does seem to be anchored. I leave things as I find them, tho... Click for details

This is a beautiful collectors plate by the Unites States Post Office in the letter series, a portrait of Michelangelo by Raphael. It is in lovely shades of lavender, tan, and brown, and shows him writing a letter. This is plate number 9477 in the 1973 firing. It measures 8.5 inches in diameter and is in excellent condition.

The original painting for this image is in the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C. The plate measures 8 and 1/8 inches across and has a gold rim. The colors are beautiful in blues and reds.
