This vintage oil painting of a nude came from a fine South Florida estate. The model is a picture of calm and comfort in her skin, much of which is artfully shown lounging. The painting is signed ALINE. The stretched canvas painting is without a frame. The painting measures 24 by 18 inches. The colors are soft and restful. The flowers near the easel are a bright spot...but nothing that detracts from the lovely nude. Excellent condition.

original and intact. It has a foil tag from the Edna Lewis Studios in Baltimore Maryland. Also a
tag stating it is an original in oil. From what I have found she is know for her silhouettes on
glass. This may be an earlier work of hers. It is in the original wood and gesso frame which is completely gilded in gold. Might need a cleaning, the oil that is. Excellent condition. Measures 6

It is a very muted green with an interior ivory linen/burlap framing. It was manufactured in Mexico. The frame is without problem and has lost the new look.
