Night Castle. This is signed in pencil Alice Villanueva Scott, who apparently has now become Alice Scott-Morris. Numbered 143/350. The round print itself measures about 6-1/2", the overall frame dimensions are 15-3/4 x 15-3/4". Condition is beautiful. (Did some research, this print unframed is priced at $130, so am offering at a bargain price for this framed example.) Jean Lavallé published his seminal work on the great vineyards of Burgundy’s Côte d’Or in 1855. The volume, which rarely comes up for sale (and when it does it brings a very high price), contains the history and statistics of the wines of this fabled region. It also contains nine lithographs representing the various communes and their vineyards.

From the 1847 book "Historical Collections of the State of New Jersey," where it appears on page 267, this hand-colored historical print depicts the "College of New Jersey, Princeton." The school was renamed Princeton University in 1896. The artist is John Warner Barber. The image area of this print is 3½ by 6¼ inches. This is a rare find, I can find no equivalents of these lithographs on ebay or anywhere else - even on Google. This is entitled "A Trip to the farm" a set of 12 - unused - farm scenes, plus the teacher instruction sheets and original envelope they came in. From the estate of a local teacher these are from the 1960s I think. In extraordinary condition, very fine quality art work.
