This 10" sculpture is signed on the bottom but I can't make it out. It reminds me of the Ukama type. I'm calling this soapstone, but am not sure of whether it is soapstone or one of the other soft stones. There is a small chip on the bottom, no-show unless you turn it over, otherwise good condition. Weight packed for shipping will be close to six pounds, so postage is figured for West Coast zip codes - I'll adjust it downward if you are closer. $35

Carved Marble Model of Kukulkan Mayan Pyramid at Chichen Itza. This is a real beauty! The main base is of 4 panels of what I will describe as speckled pink marble with areas that have shades of grey and many veins of red and dark red running through it. Each set of steps is of black to light grey/white, and the temple portion at the top is of a bit darker pink with strong red veining. This is a beautiful small sculpture by G.Ruggeri. The title is Hercules and Diomede and was made in Italy. It is just under 6 inches tall including the base, which looks to be marble. I'm not sure what the statue is made from, it seems like marble, but could be alabaster, it is cold to the touch. This is a classic example of the beautiful mixed media creations Winifred Cole is known for producing solo and under the name Bovano of Cheshire. This piece is from her early 1970 studio days. Authentic Sasha Brastoff Enamelware Bowl on Brass Pedestal, and signed in the traditional, "Sasha B" on the front.
