These original old 1939 New York World's Fair LICENSED POSTER STAMPS are a colorful souvenir of the great art deco fair. There are 54 stamps...still in the original envelope with TRYLON and PERISPHERE on the front. The original envelope/folder measures 8 by 5 1/2 inches but opened up, the poster stamp sheet measures 15 by 14 1/2 inches. Back in the 1930's when smoking was 'sophisticated', this was no doubt intended to be a cigarette box. 70 years later, it's just a fabulous art deco box for anything you want to keep in it. It's made of heavy tin that's lithographed to look like burl wood. The box is lined in more tin. This tin isn't the cheap flimsy kind but well-made with reinforced rounded edges. This mug has a wonderfully playful motif. The design is definitely deco. Around the rim there are raised designs of birds of paradise, flower urns and florals. It was made by the wilcox silver co. and numbered 1346. with their standard two crossed hammer marking. There is lots of plate loss to this piece, and it is bent at the base, but it would still look lovely on a mantle or bookcase.

This is a very large water pitcher used during the forties till now. This pitcher has a typical deco flare about it, women had to serve lemonade in style you know. It is decorated in bright reds, greens, black and white, with a floral pattern and bold lines. The mouth of this pitcher in geometrical shape of an octagon. It stands at 11 in. tall and is 9 in. wide and the rim measures 5 3/4 in. It is in excellent condition. No cracks, breaks or chips of any kind. Go ahead, have lemonade in style!

This is truly an outstanding piece of jewelry from the deco period, between 1920 and 1940. Imagine stepping into the Copa Cabana, wearing this around your neck, all heads would turn. Here is a great example of a candy dish of the Eames Era. Bottom is clear glass with a thick band of gold leaf around the
bottom and 2 more bands around the middle. The tall carousel shaped lid is frosted, the knob and shoulder are painted in

This is a pair of vintage solid brass candle scones in the shape of pineapples, and made to mount on a wall. The crafting and finish are excellent.
