Spectacular cranberry, sommerso (the cranberry color is "suspended" within clear, art glass bowl from mid-20th Century, very thick and very heavy, with silver gilt, in a modernist pattern of three exotic fish. Unfortunately, there is a very small abrasion which we believe began as an open bubble (common in mouthblown glass), and was subsequently tampered with by someone who didn't not understand the nature of this glass. Much of the enameling is missing from one tulip, and a little from the other; corners are rough. Just a little over 1/2" square. Probably Czechoslovokia. 20th Century.

The entire plate is richly included with real gold dust, and shows the original sharp pontil mark on the center base. 7-1/2" diameter. Condition is excellent with the occasional normal anomalies to Venetian goass such as bits of tiny black inclusions, likely bits of ash; internal and external bubbles. Pale green antique Venetian Glass Plate with Drops on the underside which show through the top side of the plate. The plate rests on a slender ring-foot with original clipped pontil in the center. Tiny, thinning trails of the drops were allowed to "drip" over the ring foot, and those drips are where the plate has rested when in contact with a surface. Fenton Blue Opalescent Hobnail Cruet
This cruet was made by the Fenton glass company. This has a beautiful blue color that fades to a white milky color at the top. It was produced between the years of 1942-1954. The clear stoper has some small chips on the bottom.Cruet is free of chips, and cracks. It measures 4 3/4" Tall, 3" long, 2 1/4" wide.
