Beautiful vintage Ladies Compact in the shape of a heart. It appears to be made of brass. The top is a rouge/red and the bottom is textured (in the photo, it looks like the bottom is marred but that is a "sticky" substance and I'm afraid to scour it). At one time there were tiny "jewels" in the heart shaped design on the top, only 3 remain. New jewels could be inset but it would also be just as decorative not to have them at all. Very nice glass powder jar titled “Minstrel” and is clear glass! Jar is in very good condition – it has a couple rough spots (teeny dings) on jar rim and on lid rim – not unusual. The back of the instrument has a couple teen dings. Great addition to a collection!

Tallest measures 12", medium is 8" and smallest is 6". Two are perfect but the medium size has damage to top edge, as seen in photo. Langford and Co., the maker of the Pyramid line of perfumes and atomizers, then added the hardware and sold the finished product. Pyramid atomizers were a major competitor of DeVilbiss.
