Unfortunately they didnt tell the little darlings not to scribble all over their primer or tear the pages. The inside of the book is readable but in Poor Condition. I put it out for purchase because if I collected this kind of thing I would still find interest in it. Its great age also makes it desireable. The inside of the book is in VGC except for the 2nd page where the little boy that it was given to decided to write his name and Christmas 1927 in childish cursive, also for some reason a adult has very neatly printed in pencil the page numbers at the bottom of all of the pages, perhaps so they could count down how much further they had to read in the story.
