3 Gorgeous Ruby Red Avon Cape Cod Candle Goblets

These wonderful trio of goblets are part of the Avon 1876 collection that came out in 1976. These are ruby red pressed glass and still have almost all of their original candle wax in them, the originally sold as candles. They measure 4.5 inches tall and 2.25 inches across the rim. All three of these goblets are in great condition.

The first practical sewing machine was developed by Isaac Singer in Massachusetts, 1850. One year later, Singer and Edward Clark formed I.M. Singer & Company. In 1863 the company was changed to Singer Manufacturing Company. Pistol Shaped Wine Bottles

A set of unique emerald glass pistol-shaped wine decanters. The "scroll-work" of the pistols are painted with gold. A two-toned raffia cord is tied to the butt and to the barrel forming a strap. One bottle has the original raffia stopper or 'barrel plug', the other is absent. There are a couple of places the gilt has worn and faded on the butt and side of the pistols. Both of the two different labels are on each of the bottles.

Piso's Cure For Consumption is one of the most collectible of medicine bottles. This bottle probably dates from around late 19th Century. The active ingredient in this medicine was cannabis - THC specifically - and it apparently worked to a degree. Was used to treat tuberculosis. Green color, about 5-6" high.

Very old Celery Compound solution - not sure what ailments this was for other than knowing celery is good for you. Probably from around early 1900s. Bottle has a large curved shaped interior crack - looks original to the bottle when it is made and is around 6 inches long. It goes up and then curves back down again. This does not affect the exterior surface of the bottle. Measures close to 10 inches high. Aqua color.

For your collection a nice green colored liquor bottle. Embossed logo of some kind. This had benedictine in it originally - I think that's gin. Very nice bottle with part of cork still in bottle. Stopper ring fragment on the neck. Not a chip or crack - lots of little bubles in the glass
