This is a very old stamped metal box and is from England. Lots of fancy petals and flowers. Oval shape measures 7 3/4" x 9 1/4". It is 2 1/2" deep. Average condition, with wear, and has been loved and used. Nice old patina. A few dings on the bottom and paint wear. Would make a great sewing box.

This 1983 Avon Music Box is a white porcelain music box. It is a scalloped oval shape with a swag decoration of flowers. On the lid it reads "Memories" and inside "...are for sharing". When you lift the lid it plays 'Try to Remember.'When you lift the lid off and turn it upside down or when you place the lid back on. It measures 4 1/2" X 2 1/2". It is marked on the bottom; "Avon, 1983" Excellent Condition!

Voorschoten is a small village and municipality in the western Netherlands, in the province of South Holland. This beautiful small box with the silver decoration of an old mid-evil scene came from that ares. The back has a silver and blue sticker with the town name and a facsimile of their flag. The silver scene is stamped "E.P.N.S. Holland 90 over 2". With an oval hallmark that I cannot identify. Beautifully crafted it measures 6-1/8" x 4-1/2" x 1-7/8".
