Good sized, at 12" x 8" x 7-1/2" tall. Great hand crafted box; inlaid wood in double stripes on the lid, and all around the perimeter. Neat handcut and shaped handles and feet; handles are made from alternating light and dark, multi-layered wood pieces, and their final, top layer is inlaid with the lighter wood. The lid is bordered with the lighter wood. Condition is excellent; although there's two natural cracks in the wood of the lid (pictured), and they do not cause a problem. Seven smal... This awesome old rustic box has been hand made years ago and lined with a fabric. It has a celestial design of sorts with the large sun design on the ends. Light areas have been carved out and the dark areas have been stippled with a pyrography / poker technique. This box is large and has a slant opening front lid. Beautiful vintage Ladies Compact in the shape of a heart. It appears to be made of brass. The top is a rouge/red and the bottom is textured (in the photo, it looks like the bottom is marred but that is a "sticky" substance and I'm afraid to scour it). At one time there were tiny "jewels" in the heart shaped design on the top, only 3 remain. New jewels could be inset but it would also be just as decorative not to have them at all. A sweet sentiment on this darling little Enesco trinket box. Made of glazed porcelain with a cameo silhouette, a border of flowers, and gold edge trim. Oval shape measures 2 1/4" x 3" and is 1" deep plus the lid. No chips but there is a hairline about 1/4" (about the size of an eyelash)that does not go through. Its either a hairline or a flaw.Otherwise fantastic condition with original Enesco sticker.
