Vintage wood box made in Switzerland, Measures 6 1/4 x 4 7/8, and is 1 7/8" tall at the top of the curved lid.IT may be a cigar box, the wood has a nice smell. Intricate inlay pattern. There is a small hole in the bottom, and a few slight veneer chips on the corners. Some gentle surface wear shows because of the age. Box lid has original hinges and fits snug and would be airtight except for that small hole I mentioned.

This is a beautiful vintage Lionvale music box with Reuge music movement, featuring a gorgeous inlaid floral pattern on top. The tune is La Cucaracha.The music movement works fine when wound. The mechanism to make it play when the lid is open does not work, meaning the tune will play until it has unwound.The red Reuge lable is partially removed. The Lionvale label, indicating it is hand painted and made in Austria, is fully intact.

I purchased this lovely wooden box to display with Christmas handkerchiefs and now it’s time to share! Box measures 9 ¾” x 5 ¼” x 1 ¾”. It has a hinged lid and the lid has a poinsettia with leaves on both exterior and interior. The exterior has color, interior flower doesn’t. box is in very good condition for its age with minor scuffs, etc. This would be a wonderful gift for a hanky or glove collector (or for yourself!).

This is a strange one-of-a-kind box, from circa mid 1850s. Hand-made dovetails, and original tin bottom. Inscribed "Joseph H Ward" on the top - the boxes likely maker and original owner. This box has a clasp to close but has never had hinges on it. Appears there used to be some type of swivel mechanism the lid turned on - very strange. This is an old shabby chic box with pink and blue morning glories on the top and a round matted frame style under glass. It does have one spot of discoloration on the mat, but not too bad. The inside has a mirrored top and two compartments with glass bottoms. I have no idea what this was used for it is an auction piece. The pink paint has that shabby look to it. This is a wood jewelry box with a picture of a Hummel boy and lamb on the top. It is a music box and it does play, but not that well. The inside is red felt and in spotlessly clean perfect condition. It measures 8.25 by 6 inches and is 3.5 inches tall. It is marked Japan in black on the bottom so I think it is a vintage piece, but it is from an auction so I don't know the age.
