This Stroh's stein features a quaint German town with the caption "During the late 18th century, Johann Peter Stroh served guests at his Kirn, Germany inn, with his legendary fire-brewed beer."

Set of 3 German style beer steins. (c.1950-60's) They are 4 1/8" tall and 3 1/4" across at the bottom. Two are the same pattern, but one has more brown glaze. It looks like a female playing a musical instrument with a male looking on. The other shows two men sitting around a barrel table and drinking with beer steins. They are in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or crazing noted.

This is a German beer stein. I believe it is salt glazed. (I am not informed on these things. I get my information from local dealers.)

This is a colorful 8" tall German beer stein with a hinged lid attached to the handle. The words "bei spiel und scherz bleibt froh das herz" are inscribed at the bottom. Adorable stein form the 50's by Shields fifth Avenue, Japan (but no tag). Looks similar to the Kreiss Elegant Heirs. This bum or Hobo mug measures 6 1/4" tall and is made of hand painted glazed ceramic. Perfect condition with no chips or cracks.
