Documented souvenier from Charles A. Lindbergh's famous solo Transatlantic flight. He is noted as saying that there was a fly in his cabin that kept him company and kept him awake. This is a nice old View-Master viewer. This particular model was produced by Sawyer and is the most recognized of all View-Master viewers. I am told that it was introduced in 1946 and remained in production for approximately 10 years. I am not sure of this information. Made of black bakelite, it is a sturdy and durable viewer that is still in working condition. Lenses are fine with no cracks or breaks and the lever that changes the picture still slides smoothly....
