This is a J G Meakin, England crescent bone dish or curved salad dish made 1907-1912. The crescent salad or bone dish is a molded ironstone with a sepia transfer or transferware floral with hand painted accents and gold foliage and trim. The crescent dish or bone dish measures .8 inch high by 6.5 inches long by 4 inches wide and is in very good +++ condition. There are no chips or cracks and only very minor gold wear and a few bits of kiln dust which is normal in ironstone of this age.

Amazing detailing on the hand decoration of this piece. The child appears to be singing. Stamped into the Mold "Made in Italy". Very similar to the Bossoms pieces. This measures 3 1/2" x 4 1/4", and has a molded in, hang hole on the back. There are tiny fleabites on several areas of the piece noticeable mostly to the touch. This is a very old piece and very well done.

This is a great eames era piece with an interesting mix of matte and glazed drip, in lime and turquoise with a little chartruese. It has a neat windshield type rim and upturned ends. Oval in shape and measures approxamatly 7" x 10 1/2". Inside is glazed white. Perfect condition with no chips or cracks. A very interesting piece. It has a very large odd mark into the pottery that looks like several lettrs incorporated into the mark when it is turned different ways.
