The china cup and saucer were produced by SGK China in Occupied Japan. This dates the cup and saucer from between 1945 to 1951. The little teacup has a pattern of flowers with gold accent decorations and the cup measures 1 5/8 inches tall and 2 7/8 inches across the top. The matching saucer has a scalloped edgeand is 4 5/8 inches across. Great addition to a collection, but great to use every day! Cups make great gifts too. Beautiful Japanese Eggshell Porcelain demitasse size tea cup and saucer. It is handpainted with Geisha women in the garden and on the terrace A child plays with a butterfly. It is accented in a rust color edging. It is in excellent used condition. There are no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. The cup measures 2 1/8" wide by 2 1/4" high and the saucer is 4 1/4" diameter. Bottom mark is a red JAPAN stamp.

Vintage tea pot in the Japanese Geisha girl pattern. Two geisha on one side and three on the other. Portrays hanging flowers, fence, and buildings/houses. Relief pattern under glaze on lid and upper portion of tea pot. Red rust color trims. Marked with the red MADE IN JAPAN stamp. No cracks or chips on teapot. Roughness under lid but is just crudely molded. Measures 5 1/2" tall and is 8" long from tip of spout to handle. Pretty shape not seen often in this pattern.
