This”Virginia Rose” china was made by the Homer Laughlin China Co. in the 1940’s - 1950’s. Collectors refer to this pattern as “Fluffy Rose” while the Virginia Rose name is actually the name of the shape of the blank. We have acquired a virtually unused set of this china from a local estate. We will list some of the better pieces here on CyberAttic. This bread and butter plate is in excellent condition, with excellent platinum trim.

The wild roses or flowers are in shades of pinks and lavender with soft green leaves. The rim and handle have platinum trim and shows some slight signs of wear. There are no cracks, chips or crazing. It measures 6" from tip of lip to handle, 3 1/2" tall and 3 2/4 " wide. It holds 1 cup of liquid very easily. Was made in the USA. The bottom has Homer Laughlin, Virginia Rose, Made in U.S.A. H52N8. The number is for the shape which is Virginia Rose.

Homer Laughlin Virginia Rose shape Green Lattice Floral serving bowl, 9 3/4 in diameter at the top. Has seen some use, has a chip on the rim, paint scuffed off on the rim also. Still intact and highly usable.
