This is a fabulous vintage vase made by Fischer, Herend Hungary between 1932-1939. The ornate had painted vase of an unknown pattern measures 4.5 inches high by 4.5 inches wide by 3 inches deep. The beautiful oval pedestal porcelain vase features a floral bouquet design on the front and chintz floral rosettes on the back with fancy pierced side flanges or handles like leaves with heavy burnished gold trim. This is a chintz biscuit jar or biscuit barrel in an art deco design vintage with fancy silver plate fittings. The biscuit jar was made by Midwinter, England now a part of Wedgwood in 1940-1946 in a pattern called Brama consisting of a green ground with a gold chintz grapes and grapevine overlay. The Brama pattern was substituted by what used to be the Springtime pattern in 1946-1947, so the dating is pretty narrow.
