This lovely plate and syrup dispenser were manufactured by Crown Ducal. Crown Ducal is the name used on many pieces that were actually manufactured by A.G. Richardson and Co, England, and has been around since 1916. They are best known for their chintz patterns. This is an excellent example of their work. Vintage Bone China Fruit Pattern 8225 Tea Cup & Saucer by Royal Vale. It has a slightly scalloped top outer edge with gold gilded accents. The cup measure 2.75 inches high and 3 3/8 inches across the top rim. The saucer is 5.5 inches in diameter. The base is marked "Bone China Royal Vale Made In England A Product of Ridgway Potteries LTD". Very nice condition - no chips, cracks or repairs. Gold gilding on the edges is nice and bright.
