Normally a quite expensive item, this Royal Doulton Flambe Vase has apparently been damaged by rolling on a rough surface. The glaze has been damaged all the way around the vase, as well as a few spots around the rim. We see no chips or cracks, only the loss of the glaze as seen in the photos. This can certainly be repaired by a professional art restoration company, which will also restore 80% of its original value. Presented is a trio in the lovely Royal Doulton pattern "Canton". The cup is 3" high and 3 1/2" across the top; the saucer is 6" and the salad plate is 8". The pattern is an oriental design . It has pink blossoms with a touch of blue and peach on a brown vine. Each piece is trimmed in gold and each is in fine, attractive condition with no chips, marks or repairs.
