This beautiful 3-piece set was made by Spode Copeland. It is in the Alden pattern and was made in 1939. The pattern is characterized by embossed daisies along the rim of each piece and fruit in the center. The edge of each piece is also scalloped. This beautiful tureen was made by Spode Copeland of England. It is in the "Gadroon" pattern which was produced between 1955 and 1972. This pattern is characterized by it's rope edge and scalloped shape. This particular piece is off white in color. The tureen has 4 feet and two handles. This beautiful compote was made by Spode. It is marked "Spode, Impl England". I do not know the name of the pattern, but it is very elegant. The center of the bowl is plain. Spreading out from the center there are 8 ribbons which curve slightly. Between the ribbons are two alternating patterns. One consists of embossed ovals and diamonds. This very sought after pattern, Rosebud Chintz, is on bowls that measure approximately 6 5/8"" across and are either cereal bowls or coupe shaped (rimless) soup bowls. Uncommon to find these. They are excellent condition meaning there are no chips, no cracks, no stains and only very minimal to no small pattern crazing. They are priced "each" here. Currently, there are 7 available. There are slight color variations as well as density of pattern from bowl to bowl.
