these are pretty Thorley, England bone china paperweights, Staffordshire posy or ornament that is a hand made bouquet of bone china flowers and leaves in a vase or urn. The posy measures 3.5 inches high by 2.5 inches square This piece was made in the 1950-1960s by Thorley China and features a light pink, a dark pink and a pale yellow rose in a white pedestal urn with green leaves.

Offering this flow blue plate from Burslem England in the Staffordshire area known as Stoke-on-Trent. The pattern is Astoria and it bears a mark of Wood & Son that was the forerunner of New Wharf Pottery that dates the piece between 1891 & 1907. New Wharf Pottery was in operation between 1878 to 1894. Although the mark is of Wood & Son the name in the ribbon is New Wharf Pottery. Wood & Sons operated between 1865 & 2005. This is a fabulous 5 piece set that came from the famous Staffordshire England area known as Stoke-on-Trent. It was produced in the town of Hanley by S. Hancock & Sons that was in business from 1851 to 1937. This set was introduced between 1923 and 1937 during their Corona Ware period. The pattern is Verlaine. The cup and saucer are bone china made in England, by Royal Stafford, approximate dating is c. 1950-60. The footed cup measures 2 3/4" x 3 1/4". The saucer 5 1/2" in diameter. Both pieces have scalloped edges, feature the Easter Star emblem and multiple five point stars placed randomly throughout with gilt borders. Made by the Crown Staffordshire Co. of Fenton, England circa 1930's, this Teacup and Saucer has some minor wear on the Gold trim which is quite normal for it's age of 70+ years. The overall condition is considered to be really nice with NO chips or cracks. The cup is 4 1/8" wide including the handle and is 2 3/8" tall with the saucer being 5.5" wide. A very nice display set for your collection.

This is a nice,vintage teapot in the blue onion pattern by Sadler of Staffordshire,England.There are no chips or cracks. There is crazing on the pot as I show in the pictures,but the lid appears to have been replaced as it has no crazing and no chips or cracks. The teapot measures 9.25" from handle to end of spout and is 6"h to top of lid.

This is an antique Staffordshire England Oriental Poychrome cup and saucer or tea bowl made from 1800-1820. The oriental design is polychrome hand painted enamel paint over pink or red transfer. The cup is 2.25 inches high and the deep saucer or tea bowl is 1.25 inches high by 5.65 in diameter with no maker's marks except the script number 153 on the saucer which is normal. This stately old creamer has the backstamp that dates it between 1914-1925 according to the website, "A-Z of Stoke-on-Trent Potters" . It has been very well treasured because of the condition it is in today. It is 5 3/4" tall and 4 3/4" from spout to handle. I assume the pattern name is "Gotha'. I haven't been able to find another dish in this pattern during my research. There is a small chip on the foot of the creamer that can be seen in the 2nd photo, not noticed sitting on a table.
