This is a really beautiful vintage, almost antique, bowl with folded handles. It has a wonderful masterfully handpainted landscape scene. It is a very unusual shaped dish, almost like a boat shape and measures 3 inches tall at the tallest point and 9 by 6.25 inches across the top. This is an exceptional quality Japanese porcelain dish, tray or plate, probably used for sushi or sauces. It is marked, and the closest that I can make out the mark is Nippon Imari and Arita-yaki from the early part of the 20th century. It has a leaf design with translucent glaze and lovely black, red and gold gilt accents. It is marked under the glaze. It measures 6.5 by 4 inches and is in great shape, no chips, no cracks and no crazing that I can see.

Presented is an early Nippon 2 handled vase with a rare and desireable scene of sailboats and windmills. The vase is 5" tall and 4" across the top from handle to handle. It has sailboats and a windmill in the front and a sailboat, windmill and birds in the back. It is in wonderful earthtones. The vase is in fine, attractive condition with no chips, marks or repairs.

These 2 hand painted vases or sake jars appear to be quite old. They are exactly the same color and have the same Japanese marks on the bottom, but the style is slightly different. One is shaped sort of like a pumpkin and has beautiful cranes on the three sides, the other has many lines and four circles with white flowers, sort of like daisies in them. The is a very old piece of porcelain from Japan, circa late 1800s or early 1900s. It is a condiment jar, with attached underplate, lid and spoon. There is a relief pattern with gold applied trim. Much of the gold has worn away on the sides of the bowl and on the underplate edges, but most is visible on the lid.

A wonderful old Nippon porcelain vase that measures 9" tall and has two handles. Hand painted roses of yellow, pink, and mauve. Lots of gold accent trims. Stamp on bottom is very faint and barely legible. No chips or repairs. One small 1/2" surface crack inside that does not go through. It was probably a flaw and is now noticed because of stain from use over the many years. This does not detract from the value of this awesome piece. A wonderful old cup and saucer that is hand painted with blue hydrangeas and green foliage. Pale yellow background with a hint of orange blush. Gold edge trims. Saucer has the green circular Nippon backstamp. No chips or cracks. Some gold wear on the lower part of the handle. These are very light and delicate, as you can see through the cup.
