Here is an very nice working hand made solid wood quartz battery clock. It measures approximately 11" X 11" X 1 1/5". I am not sure what type of wood this is, but there are several shades of wood which have been glued together to form the block. It is unique in that it has wood burn engraving of a Water Mill scene complete with a water wheel. It appears to be in very good condition. This is an older Clock, made in Germany, which was, at some point, converted to battery operation. Takes a C battery, and I don't have one, but we're pretty sure it works. Originally it had 4 jewels, German movement, and was an 8-day Clock. Now it still has the look of an antique, but operates much easier, and only needs a battery to make it run. My Mom bought this in the mid-1970's on one of her many trips to Loas Vegas and surrounding areas. This working clock stands 9" high and 9" across. The Hacienda Hotel & Casino opened in 1956 closing in 1996 located in Paradise, Nevada. Condition is perfect. No chips, nips, cracks, fading, repairs or other damage(s).
