Shaped like a shoe heel this fob is advertising Steadfast Shoes. Obv. reads "Thro'life's travels wear The Steadfast Shoe fit for any man Bench Made". On the rev. "Smith Briscoe Shoe Co.Lynchberg, Va.". This company was in business about 1900 with a catalog as a mail order shoe co. The fob measures approx. 1 3/8 inches across by 1 5/8 inches high. Condition of fob is very fine.

It is in excellent running condition but as with any vintage watch I list this is not a guarantee. There are some spots on the dial but not visable except under magnification.

The fob consists of a folded black gros grain ribbon and a gold filled pin holding an engraved seal fob and gold filled fittings with a gold filled chain.
