Offering this Illinois pocket watch. Open dial with markings inside the rear cover that list it as 10K gold filled 20 year warranty. Movement reads "17 Jewels Illinois Springfield Watch Co. Adjusted 3460742". That serial number dates the watch to 1919. Case is excellent not showing any worn spots. Strong running and keeping accurate time. This is an 1888 Elgin Pocket watch as determined by the serial number 3430457. Crystal is free from any marks or scratches. Dial is clean but does have 2 very minor hairlines at approx. 6 and 7 o'clock on the dial. Back plate has a very nice train design and is marked on the inside "DEFIANCE 0953502". Offering this incredible 1918 Waltham sidewinder pocket watch in nearly mint condition! The white gold toned case has ornate chased engravings on the bezel and case sides, and the back sports a fancy design with vertical stripes and an open shield that awaits your engraved initials.
