This is a Lorus quartz wrist watch with the Walt Disney character Goofy on the dial. It is the original watch that was produced in 1990 that runs backwards and all the numbers are backwards. Gold toned dial and case. It is running and is keeping perfect time. A new battery has been installed. Dial is clean and reads "Lorus Quartz The Walt Disney Company Mov't Japan V-516-6A08 Hr2". To begin a little history on the Bucherer watch. Company started in 1888. Maker of fine jewelry and watches and operates in Lucerne Switzerland. This watch is 17 jewel and gold filled. All original including the crown with the letter "B". This watch dates back to the late 1940's or 50's. Dial is clean and reads "Bucherer 17 Jewels Swiss" and also the Bucherer logo. Very attractive wristwatch made by Alfex Ltd. of Switzerland. It is manual wind 17 jewel Swiss movement. The dial is unique in that the second hand rotates around giving the allusion that there isn't any connection to the center.
