Nice vintage men's wrist watch from the 1940's by Benrus. It is 15J with 10k rolled gold plated bezel. A curved face and small second hand. Original crystal has scratches but they are not deep and are not visible at normal vision. There is a small chip that is also at 7 & 8 o'clock and 2 smaller ones at 3 & 5 o'clock. They are only chips on the crystal edge and do not go through to the dial. As for the dial it is clean and clear. Good running condition and overall in very fine condition. Nice bl... To begin a little history on the Bucherer watch. Company started in 1888. Maker of fine jewelry and watches and operates in Lucerne Switzerland. This watch is 17 jewel and gold filled. All original including the crown with the letter "B". This watch dates back to the late 1940's or 50's. Dial is clean and reads "Bucherer 17 Jewels Swiss" and also the Bucherer logo. Very attractive wristwatch made by Alfex Ltd. of Switzerland. It is manual wind 17 jewel Swiss movement. The dial is unique in that the second hand rotates around giving the allusion that there isn't any connection to the center.
