This listing has a 25 year Masonic pin. It is marked sterling and the top has a small diamond (I tested it and it is a real diamond). It appears the pin has a gold color material/wash over the silver and the color is a bit worn in some places. The pin could use a good cleaning -- I did not attempt because I was concerned I would damage the enameling. This 1" enamelled pin is from Clan na Gael, which was formed in New York City in 1867 after the failure of the Fenian Uprising in Ireland. They were responsible for the rescue of the Fenian prisoners in Australia in 1876, the dynamiting of London in the 1880s, the building of the fist submarine the "Fenian Ram", and never-ending material support to the Irish Republican Army. On April 15, 1934, William Randolph Hearst,(newspaper magnate)launched the JUNIOR BIRDMAN OF AMERICA PROGRAM, open to all boys and girls with interest in aviation.Individuals between the ages of 10-15 were in category Group B and when they joined they received a silver membership wing shaped pin, 1 3/4" in length.Those older 16-21 received a gold pin.On the "blue" part of the pin it had JUNIOR BIRDMAN OF AMERICA. Maestricht, Haarlem tumbler with crest depicting, in part, a crown over two bells which are above the shoulders of a shield which has a sword on it as well as 4 stars, and a cross. Also wreathed with oak leaves and acorns. Stands right at 4” tall and is about 2 7/8” diameter at the mouth. Very good condition with no cracks, crazing, or other damage with the exception of a small scuff/chip in the glaze on lip. About 1/8”-3/16” long.
