This American Greetings porcelain collector plate measures 8" diameter. It depicts a snowy scene in shades of blue and white. The classic verse, "I heard the bells on Christmas Day, Their old, familiar colors play" by Longfellow and "Christmas 1978" appears at the bottom of the scene which shows several people walking through the snow into a church. It was designed and signed by CHIARA for the American Watercolor Society.

This is a miniature porcelain collectors plate with Washington D.C., the capitol, the white house, Thomas Jefferson memorial,Abraham Lincoln memorial, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and Mt.Vernon on the inside, It has gold gilding around the pointed edge, and the original blue made in Japan label on the bottom. It measures 3.75 inches in diameter. It is in very good condition, with just a little age glaze crazing to the underside.
