Large white glazed ceramic cannister made by Sears Home line. This may have been part of a cannister set. This one is the cookie jar and measures 9 1/2" tall. Very nice condition with the exception of a chip repair inside the inner lip of the jar. Not noticeable from the outside appearance. At first I thought it to just be a flaw, but it is a chip repair. Marked HOME on the bottom.

Nice ceramic cookie jar for your holiday treats. Made of hand painted ceramic. A bear dressed in a Santa suit decorates a Christmas tree with the help of his goose friend. Presents and toys sit under the tree. No makers mark or sticker, but appears to be a newer jar. No cracks or chips. It looks as if a tip on the star had a glaze chip but has been touched up nicely. Cute cookie jar or a nice container for storing a variety of snacks or treats. This is tilted like the old candy store counter jars. Could also sit upright instead of at an angle. Made entirely of glazed ceramic. The bears head is the lid and it has a freshness gasket to make a nice seal. He wears a sailor hat and red tie. Perfect condition. Measures 7 1/2" tall.

This listing has a very nice McCoy green pepper cookie jar!

This is the skinnier pepper (like the yellow pepper jar) and it has very pretty color – slightly different shades of green!

Jar is marked on bottom: McCoy, 151, Lancaster Colony (mark), USA. It is in wonderful condition with minor crazing – that’s it!

This listing has a super nice McCoy tee pee cookie jar! Marked on bottom: McCoy, USA, 137. The jar has excellent cold paint and is in wonderful condition – there is a ¼” slice type glaze ding on bottom edge of lid (not visible when on jar and not very noticeable when off) – that’s it! As with many of McCoy’s cookie jars, the lid does not fit snugly. This is a very nice cookie jar and an excellent addition to any collection!

A wonderful shabby/country crock cookie jar with a rose pattern. Made by Red Wing Pottery but unmarked. They refer to this as a fruit much jar. Made of heavy crockery with and painted roses on the front. Lots of the paint is worn, but this seems to add a great sense of character to the old jar. Measures 7 1/2" tall to the tip of the knob on the lid. No cracks or chips or damages. Technically there is one chip on the bottom, but it is under the glaze from when it was originally made. This old vintage cookie jar is very cute. A little brown bear with a clown ruffle collar and hat. It has no chips or cracks but does have paint wear in several places as shown in the picture. The back is in excellent condition with no wear, just on the front, as you can see in the photo. It measures 9 1/2" tall. Made of hand painted ceramic. There is a mark on the bottom but it is filled with glaze and I can not read it.

Older McCoy pottery cookie jar dates 1961. THe old oaken bucket measures about 10" tall . Copper bail and the ceramic rope on the lid loops to make a nice handle. The cold paint on the barrel staves is worn on the edges but still looks good for a cookie jar of this style and vintage. The only flaw is a thin chip inside the rim of the lid. Which is not real noticeable because it's on the inner unglazed part of the lid. A nice cookie jar.
