This old kitty cat cookie jar is very cool.Black glazed ceramic with cold paint features and a red bow. Measures 6" tall and is about 9 1/2" long. Good vintage condition with just a couple small issues. A wee bit of paint loss on the white face area and a small area of red onthe bow. There is a small hairline crack, but very hard to detect. Awesome vintage cookie jar made of heavy glazed ceramic/pottery. A Pitcher with raised grape pattern and says "COOKIES". hand painted with sponged trim, and the little lid is also a pitcher that is hollow so you can easily pick up the lid. PERFECT condition. All decoration is underglaze. Looking aat the bottom, there is no maker, but the pottery is a pinkish brown color. Gentle age crazing under the glaze.
