This black and white resting holstein cow cookie jar is an Otagiri product. It is 10 x 7.75 x 5.5. Otagiri products were handcrafted and handpainted in Japan. This cookie jar was made in the 1980s. Enesco bought out Otagiri so Otagiri stamped items are no longer made. The black and gold foil "handcrafted Japan/Otagiri" label is on the bottom with the Otagiri trademark. This cookie jar is in excellent vintage condition and has no chips or cracks.

Vintage Japan kitten or cat cookie jar. I have noticed the Japan manufacturers made these with different hats. This one has a coolie hat with a flower on each side and wear a red and yellow polka dot tie. Some decoration in underglaze but it has cold paint accents for the tie and flowers. No chips or damages. Mervyn's Glass-Eyed Mama Rabbit with Baby Cookie Jar. This adorable bunny rabbit cookie jar is a mama rabbit with her baby. There were five of these glass-eyed cookie jars sold exclusively at Mervyn's Department Store in the 1980s. Circa 1960 – Seating on his back legs that baby tiger seems disturbed by the bee resting on his cheek. His hat is the lid and calls him “Tiger Cookie”. Unmarked this lovely jar is 12” at the top of the hat. No cracks or chips. Some paint loss coming from washing most likely. He is in very good shape for his old age.

Circa 1960 - vintage, all ceramic with glazed white interior, brown bear Cookie Jar. It was made by De Forest Pottery in California. Although unmarked it bears the # G405 underneath. Standing 11” high by 8 ½ “wide, it is an adorable baby bear with his huge blue eyes. Looking happy, he obviously likes cookies leaking his lip as he does with his tongue as pink as the pads of his pawns.
