This is the 14 1/4" inch platter. There is a small smear of grey glaze (the border color) underneath the matte glaze which can be seen in the picture. The imperfection was in the production process...cover it with food and no one will know it's there. The piece is otherwise without flaws.

I believe these are hand made. Glazed ceramic with an oatmeal color with flecks of tan through out. Measures over 3 1/2" tall. Perfect condition, no corks. Would go well with may sets of dishes such as Metlox and some of the Homer Laughlin.
