Typical Victorian pattern, this tobacco felt was given as a premium by the company whose mark can still be seen on the reverse. These felts were typically used in dollhouses in the early part of the 20th Century. 5 1/2" by 3" including fringe.

This 3" X 5 1/4" rug was a premium with a pouch of tobacco in the early 20th Century and still bears the mark of the tobacco distributor on the reverse.
The rug is in excellent condition, it has the typical loose stitches on the edges of the fringe.

Although this rug was produced in 1906 it has the Egyptian look of the accessories popular in the early 1920's that followed the discovery and opening of King Tut's tomb.
The rug is green with red and gold highlights and still bears the stamp of the tobacco distributor. These rugs were very popular for dollhouses in the early 20th Century. The rug has the typical loose stitches at the edges. 3" X 5" including fringe.... Click for details
